Pencil black

Pencil black, a new totality in the bathroom. From a design perspective, it’s about delivering an experience that stretches over multiple product categories. By introducing a new finish, we aim to allow different styles to take place at our customers’ homes. Pencil black has an expression that is calmer, softer, and more exclusive than black matt. Johan Körner, design manager at Svedbergs, tells us where the inspiration for pencil black comes from. “The inspiration for Pencil black, with its finish that complements other natural materials such as light and dark types of wood as well as creates contrasts for colors such as white and sand, comes from the southern continent.” He also describes how pencil black combines excellently with details in black matt. Which in turn, strengthens the finish even more since it doesn’t exclude any other colors. The finish rather emphasizes other materials and colors and gives the bathroom a more vibrant and refined character.
